One part, THE MATRIX and one-part CHINATOWN.
In the near future, in a country not too different from our own, the citizens are all connected via a brain implant to a massive cloud called The Trust that contains the same set of facts and information. The story revolves around Piper, a pregnant government worker who discovers the Trust has been and continues to be manipulated to only benefit the rich and powerful, while pacifying the rest of the people. Now Piper must decide what is really true, in a world full of lies and liars, and save her baby from her same fate.
